The skin type from just the photos looks like a Fitzpatrick 4, and there appears to be scarring from from some type of previous injury or condition. A definite history of what caused the discolorarion/hyperpigmentation and how long it has been there would be helpful. First, IPL is not the optimal treatment for hair removal. Secondly, IPL has to be used cautiously on olive colored skin tone for any IPL treatment. The ideal laser hair removal treatment  for someone with olive skin color would be a 1064 nm wavelength laser designed specifically for hair removal that has a cooling mechanism for the skin being treated. We use the Cutera Excel HR for hair removal on olive skin tone individuals, but there are other 1064 nm devices that work just as well.

Thank you for the photos. You have options, Botox or Dysport will certainly soften the lines  and the second option would be skin tightening treatments such as Resolve or Titan. These treatments typically require three separate sessions with no receovery time.  Since the Titan procedure is heating tissue under the skin's surface, patients of any skin type can be treated.Best wishes

Do Titan and Fraxel Laser Melt Fillers?

This is a great question asked by many people. I recommend waiting at least two weeks post fillers before having any type of laser treatment. In short, studies have shown that the heat does not penetrate deep enough to melt fillers.
