My glabella and forehead both need botox. How many units would I need to have a natural looking foreh
Deep wrinkles
Jul 21, 2014
You might need 26-33 units for your glabella complex and forehead and the horizontal line in the forehead might need repetitive q 4 months treatment until it subsides.
I have deep eye hollows. Would surgery or fillers be best?
Hollowed eyes
Jul 21, 2014
Your hollowed eyes both hereditary and cause by inflammation. Your eyes look like you suffer from a lot of allergies for which I recommend oral antihistamines. For the lack of volume I recommend fillers. Contact your local board certified Dermatologist for it.
Is my mole cancerous, or should I be worried?
atypical mole
Jul 18, 2014
Your mole has a significant number of atypical features including, irregular pigment distribution, irregular borders, areas of regression (white spots within it), among others. Go to a board certified dermatologist for a dermatoscopic evaluation of the mole and a possible biopsy to determine if the mole has changed into something more seroious.
Will plastic surgery work to build up the large dent in my lower leg where I had a melanoma removed?
scar in the leg
Jul 18, 2014
Your scar seems to be a new one and it will improve with time. However if you want to improve it faster consult your board certified dermatologist for Laser Genesis treatments that will induced new collagen formation in the papillary dermis and will improve the texture and pliability of the scar.
Cut my lip while shaving, which has healed leaving a brown mark: What would be the best way to remove
Hyperpigmentation of the lips
Jul 18, 2014
I advise you to visit your local board certified dermatologist for a professional opinion on your lip hyperpigmentation. It might not be due to the cut but to the sun.
I have facial cyst. Should I go back to the same dermatologist?
Inflammed cyst
Jul 18, 2014
The contents of the cyst spill into the dermis and causes inflammation and secondary infection. Another injection of corticosteroids will alleviate the inflammation but then asked for surgical removal a week later to evacuate the cyst. You will have a scar after the surgery but will not have a recurrent infected cyst. Go back to your board certified dermatolgoisr.
It looks like I have some sort of bruising on my legs, what might this be? It seems to be getting big
Telangectases
May 19, 2014
Even though the magnification is not ideal, it seems that what the pictures show are small leg veins called matting. Laser treatment can resolve it.
