I understand that you are not interested on flap surgery. Your other options are fat grafting your breast and/or placing a thick biologic mesh over your pectoral muscles. That will provide thickness to your soft tissues. Another option is using extra-filled silicone implants. I hope this helps....

Thanks for your question. You can benefit from liposuction to re-shape the soft tissues of your back and buttocks. A fat transfer to the buttocks will help as well. However, you will need some preoperative radiologic imaging to see your lumbosacral bony structure. Having plastic surgery is all about having improvements on your body that will make you feel better. Don't loose hope, it is feasible to help you.

There are 4 things you can do for your scar at this point:

1. As stated previously, as you get closer to 10-12 months your post operative period, the color may fade.

2. Avoid sun exposure for 1 year as it may darken your scar (use sunblock to avoid this).

3. Silicone does help. Cica care or biocorneum are all good options. Be patient to see results as it takes at least 4 weeks to see results.

4. There is a role for laser to lighten the pigmentation of scars.

Yes, it is feasible to both at the same time but first you will need to consult a plastic surgeon. Once you are examined, radiologic imaging such as a computed tomography (CT Scan) may be indicated to delineate your abdominal wall anatomy. Depending on how extensive the hernia is and the comfort level of tournaments plastic surgeon, you may or may not get referred to a general surgeon. I hope this information helps.

The implants do not expand once they are placed. However, it usually takes months for the implants to settle on their pocket once the expanders are removed. My advice is that you allow time to your body to heal and recover from all the recent anesthesia/procedures. Also, you should make an appointment with your plastic surgeon and go over your concerns.
