It is unlikely that you broken the internal stitches after your tummy tuck. If you are 6 weeks into your postoperative course then your pain should be almost resolved so what you are experiencing is normal. If you have more concerns make sure to see your surgeon for a in depth exam.

Yes, many plastic surgeons perform liposuction and tummy tucks together. It is important for safety reasons to limit the amount of liposuction that is performed at the time of a tummy tuck. In our practice it is very common to perform liposuction of the flanks at the time of a tummy tuck. I feel this allows a great result while not putting our patients at significantly higher risk of complications.

I frequently use the garment that you are using. I tell my patients that they can put a thin t-shirt on under the garment to reduce pinching & irritation from zippers. Hi ~ thanks for the question. It's hard to answer your question definitively without a physical exam. Coolsculpting would help reduce the excess fat in your abdomen; it would likely take several sessions. Another option could be liposuction of the fat, or a tummy tuck and liposuction. Hi ~ great question and congratulations on the weight loss! I ask my patients to be within 10 - 15 pounds of their ideal weight and stable - significant fluctuations after surgery can affect the result. As long as you are otherwise healthy you look to be a good candidate for tummy tuck.

Hi ~ Great question. At our practice we recommend being within 10-15 pounds of your goal weight prior to surgery. If you lose a significant amount of weight this can cause loss of natural breast tissue volume and lead to increase sag of your breast. Hi ~ We tell our patients to plan on 10-14 days of swelling and bruising that other people will notice after upper/lower blepharoplasty. Everyone is different in their healing time and if you want to be extremely conservative wait 4 weeks after surgery which will give your body plenty of time to heal.

Hi ~ Great question. To address the horizontal forehead wrinkles you need botox placed into the frontalis muscle. This is separate from the injections of botox that will raise the lateral brow or chemical brow lift. It is possible to have both performed at the same time. Hi ~ The swelling and numbness you are experiencing appears normal. There is significant swelling after filler injections to the lips and this can be accompanied by numbness. We tell our patients to not massage the lips as this can cause increased swelling and alter your results. Discuss this with your injector and make sure to follow their post injection instructions.

Hi ~ Great question. It is important to follow your surgeons postoperative instructions. Most surgeons recommend wearing a compression garment that is provided at the end of surgery. You should clarity with your surgeon that they provide them and how long to wear it. We tell our patients to wear them for 4 weeks after a tummy tuck.

Hi ~ There a lot of changes occurring in your breasts after surgery. It is not uncommon to have decreased sensation for up to 4-6 months after surgery. Most women notice that the majority of sensation returns by this point.
