Thank you for your question. I would not recommend surgery at your current BMI of 48. You are at higher risk of complications. I recommend having your BMI under 30 before considering elective surgery. Having a BMI closer to your ideal BMI will not only decrease your risk of complications, but it will also likely lead to a better aesthetic outcome. Best of luck!

Thanks for your question. Breast augmentation patients around your age are very common. I recommend you see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for a full consultation and examination. Thank you for your question. Based on your information, you should be able to have a tummy tuck procedure. You should be evaluated by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, who will assess your individual risk for developing a postoperative blood clot. Based on that information and your history, they may recommend a blood thinner for after surgery. They may even want you to get clearance from a hematologist prior to surgery. Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. I do see your concerns in your photos. I would recommend waiting at least another 6-8 weeks before evaluating the final results. Your swelling needs to go down more and the scars heal better. Then, if there are still concerns, you should discuss them with your surgeon. Thank you for your question. I'm not sure what conversation you had with your surgeon- perhaps they suggested waiting and doing the lift at another surgery? Sometimes surgeries are done this way to minimize issues with blood flow to the nipples after surgery. Regardless, age alone is typically not a deal-breaker for surgery. What matters more is a patient's overall health status. Hope this helps.
