Hello,Thank you for your great question!  Yes, it is possible to have a tummy tuck performed if you have Factor Five. Prior to surgery, a comprehensive blood panel is taken, as well as collaboration with the hematologist as a precautionary protocol.  Additionally, a post-op plan is set into place for blood clot prevention.  I recommend seeking and consulting with a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon who has had experience with performing a tummy tuck with this condition.

The best most accurate assessment would be to seek out and consult with a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon who has extensive experience with diastasis recti repair.  Both the DR and the hernia can be repaired simultaneously via tummy tuck. I have worked on patients with varying degrees of diastasis from mild to severe without the use of mesh, and excellent outcomes. Hope this is helpful!
