Juvederm – Naso Labial Folds
Juvederm for cheeks and nasolabial folds

Yes! I always start with the cheeks, because a little can go a very long way (and sometimes you can skip the nasolabial folds entirely if you are young with fine lines). Good luck,
Dr. Rupani
Can Juvederm Be Used for Deep Wrinkles Between Eyebrows?
Juvederm between eyebrows– with caution

Nov 30, 2010
Glabellar furrows (the lines between the eyebrows) are best treated with toxins. Filler can be cautiously used in the area, but make sure you go to someone who is trained in the procedure, as you can get serious side effects (such as skin necrosis) by improperly using Juvederm in this area. Good luck,
Dr. Rupani
Will a Chemical Peel Fix irritation from Cetaphil lotion?
Chemical Peels are not treatment for allergic reactions!
Nov 30, 2010
Nov 30, 2010
Cetaphil lotion tends to be very mild, but it sounds like you might have either developed a sensitivity to it or, more likely, you may have developed another medical condition called eczema or seborrhea of the face. A dermatologist should evaluate you in person in order to properly diagnose your condition. In the meantime, chemical peels are NOT appropriate management and may in fact make your irritated skin feel worse! Good luck,
Dr. Rupani
Who is Qualified to Inject Botox?
Board-certified providers should inject Botox

It's a neurotoxin, and you are putting it in your face. There are potential risks and side effects associated. Your best bet is a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has special training and expertise in this field. Good luck,
Dr. Rupani
How Long Does Botox Last?
Botox lasts 3-4 months
Nov 4, 2010
Nov 4, 2010
…usually. Some people find that it lasts less or more time. There is controversy about whether a percentage of the population are "rapid Botox metabolizers," but the general consensus is that if you have it placed properly and you don't skimp on the necessary units, you should get a calendar season out of it. Good luck,
Dr Rupani
Botox Side Effects
Minimizing Botox side effects
Nov 4, 2010
Nov 4, 2010
Although Botox is generally very safe, unwanted side effects including droppy eyebrows or eyelids can occur. The good news is that there are not permanent– Botox is generally out of your system in 3-4 months. The number one way to minimize your risk of side effects is to see a physician who is well-trained and well-informed. Good luck,
Dr. Rupani
