Looking at you photos, without an examination, I would likely recommend an implant and possibly removing some skin. Hi! This is a difficult question to answer because it depends on you post op expectations and how you feel about scars. If your expecting a high round breast you probably need a lift. This can be done in 2 separate surgeries if your not sure. You should discuss this indetail with your surgeon. Good luck!

It is very normal for implants to remain high a month after a breast augmetation. Please follow your surgeons protecol. You might consider serial photographs to help you follow the implants postitions. Sometimes its hard to tell they are slowly falling when you see them daily. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. This decision should be made in a consultation with your Board Certified in Plastic Surgery Surgeon. I like to discuss this with my patient. Depending on the complexity of the surgery, sometimes local anesthesia is appropriate. If your a person who can't stay still, I would recommend a general anesthetic. Please discuss this at your consult.

Thank you for this question. I would not recommend having any elective surgery including a breast augmentation with an elevated White Blood Cell count. I want only the best out comes for my patients. Hi! You have a frequently asked question that is important to address. It is normal for bundles of tissue to form when healing. In my patients I recommend massage, taping or silicone patches. I would recommend you see your surgeon for an examination and some follow up of your scar.

I like to think you are as young as you feel. For elective surgery you should be healthy and a non smoker. Your health is more important than your age. I would recommend you see your primary physician for a heath screening and then have a consult with a plastic surgeon.

With a good closure there is no need for steri stips or glue. I like to use it to prevent micromovement in the scar, but it is not necessary. You should discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

Thank you for your question. I assume you are looking for a higher, rounder appearance to your breast. An augmentation and lift would most likely be the best procedure to achieve this goal. The procedures can safely be done together, although you decrease some of the risks by separating them. I encourage you to have a conversation with your surgeon about the risk and benefits of the combination procedure and combining your breast surgery with a rhinoplasty.

HI! I like my patients to wear compression post op because I think it makes them more comfortable. The compression can be a surgical bra, sports bra or cami. I do not want them to wear a bra that lifts the breast because I like my implants to settle especially if they are under the muscle. You should ask you surgeon for their protocol.

Hi! The length of the incision is not related to the placement of the implant. In general, a silicone gel implant requires a slightly longer incision than a saline filled implant. Thank you for your question. I feel you are a good candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction. I like my patients to be at their idea or stable weight for about 6 months prior to the procedure. If you loose weight after the procedure your result will not be as good. I like to look at the harmony of the abdomen with the back and mons pubis to determine the best scar location. Implants should be chosen based on your post operative size goal and chest wall width. You also have choices as to the type, size and brand of the implant.
