When can I have a revision if my implants don't drop?

After surgery, changes continue for up to 6 months. The time to consider a revision depends on may factors, including the degree of the problem, if improvement is ongoing, and physician routine. In general, revisional surgery should not be considered until 3 months have passed. If the problem is improving, one can wait longer.

It does not appear you have a hematoma, based on the picture. Hematomas present as one breast being significantly larger than the other and having excessive bruising and swelling. You should check with your surgeon, who can examine you and confirm this.

It is common to have some residual contour changes after abdominoplasty. Many of these changes will improve spontaneously with time (3-6 months). You should discuss this with your surgeon if the areas do not improve to your satisfaction.

Sounds like your surgeon is doing the right thing. It is hard to tell from the pictures if this is a hematoma, but draining the area if the swelling persists may help it heal better.

It is common to have some residual concerns following breast augmentation. There are still changes related to healing for up to 3 months after surgery. At that time, you should discuss any adjustments you feel would improve the appearance. It may be something simple like a small peri-areolar lift on one side. Most surgeons are happy to discuss this with their patients.

This line can be improved with a combination of Botox and fillers. The muscle can be weakened with surgery as well. The surgery is usually done in conjunction with an endoscopic brow lift. Several treatments of Botox is necessary to weaken the muscle enough to improve the wrinkle. It took many years to develop the line, so a single application of Botox is unlikely to fix everything.

There can be many reasons for post-partum hemorrhage. If it is due to pregnancy related factors, then it should not affect future surgeries. However, if it is due to a problem in you blood with clotting, then surgery should be avoided. You should check with your regular physician to see if you can have elective surgery.

The best aesthetic results are from an augmentation and breast lift. I usually do both procedures at the same time, but some surgeons feel more comfortable staging the procedures. Alternatively, if you are unsure, you can have an augmentation done first, and then see the results to decide if you want a lift as well. Adding implants improves upper pole fullness but also increases overall size of the breasts.

It is normal to feel "swollen" or different after this procedure. Not only is the skin and fat affected, but the nerves under the skin also need time to recover. I allow my patients to undergo massages 4 weeks after surgery but each surgeon has a different regimen. You should return to discuss this with your surgeon if it bothers you.

It is hard to say exactly what size you will be after augmentation. 225cc is not a very large implant, so the change, although noticeable, may not be dramatic. You should speak with your surgeon again to discuss this matter. I find that the longest discussions with patients are about the proper implant size. Most surgeons are happy to discuss this issue at length, since it avoids post-operative disappointment.

The ideal procedure for this problem is an augmentation and a lift. Alternatively, a lift can be performed, but this would leave you with better positioned nipples but not much fullness in the breasts. If you are unsure, the procedures can be done separately as well, although it is easier to do them at once from a recovery standpoint.

Without seeing the scar-this could be some thickening of the scar or perhaps you are feeling the edge of the implant. Surgical scars can become thickened in certain area. You should go back and se your surgeon to determine the cause and to discuss treatment options.

Your breasts are slightly asymmetric. But this is not a reason to avoid breast augmentation. You can still have an augmentation with the understanding that there will still be some asymmetry after the procedure. Or you can have a minor lift around the right nipple to try and improve the symmetry.

It is common to feel some separation in the abdominal muscles following abdominoplasty. The area of separation, the linea alba, differs in width among different people. Even with permanent sutures, you can still have a small gap. A large gap would be concerning but not a small gap.

You should have the Botox done differently-less in the forehead lines and most of it in the area between the eyes. This should give you the lift you are looking for.
