Yes, I do.  However, in order to get that hourglass figure you will also need some liposuction around the torso along with that tummy tuck.In my experience, the tummy tuck makes you flatter, but it's the liposuction that gives you the "S" shaped silhouette.  I often recommend both for my patients.Good Luck!

While I can't say for sure, it certainly sounds like you may have a fluid collection (seroma) under the skin which is now beginning to leak out from the side of the incision.  It would not surprise any plastic surgeon that this would happen with a tummy tuck, but especially in one where no drain was placed.  Yes, I'm sure your surgeon did all the right things and used "progressive tension sutures", but if there is a large empty space like that created for a tummy tuck we can't know 100% t...

First, I don't think you were a good candidate for a drainless tummy tuck and I agree that you should be checked for possible fluid collections (seroma).  Second, you are dissatisfied because a standard tummy tuck was never going to get you a good waistline.  In your scenario, a flour-de-lis abdominoplasty would have been a much more powerful option, and in my opinion, the right thing to do.  For now, I would allow a few months to heal, but begin a conversation with your plastic surgeon rega...
