Thanks for your question. Definitely make an appointment to see your surgeon, but based on the description and timeline, I would simply leave the area alone for now. If possible, wear a bra which provides gentle compression to that area.

Thanks for your question. The answer to your question is yes. Extending the incision into the axilla (armpit) is commonly done in my practice, and results in removal of the skin in your area of concern. Best of luck.

Thanks for your question. Swelling after labiaplasty is a guarantee. I have my patients use ice packs and limit prolonged standing for especially the first three days. Your swelling is significant, although based on the pictures is symmetric and appears within the range of normal. At this point, I recommend magnesium citrate and to begin weaning off narcotic medications.

Thanks for your question. You are just beginning the recovery period, much healing and swelling resolution will occur over the next six weeks. It is important to voice any concerns with your surgeon, but significant changes will occur with time.

Not all patients are good candidates for a “trim” labiaplasty. However, minor revisions as you have described can routinely be done in the office under local anesthesia. This should significantly reduce the costs.

In my opinion a rhinoplasty is required to address your concerns. Adjusting the tip with sutures and grafting, and narrowing your nostrils with excising a portion of them could be done. A thorough internal and external exam by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon should be your next step…good luck.

Based on your pictures, I would definitely recommend a mastopexy (lift). I would probably recommend implants placed subfascially – just on top of the muscle – in conjunction with a vertical lift.

Absolutely. You are an optimal candidate for reshaping of the nasal tip. This will include removal of some of the cartilage in combination with suturing techniques. Find a board certified surgeon you are comfortable with.

I recommend cessation of Retin-A for 2 weeks prior to facial surgery. Patients can resume use after all incisions are healed.

All things being equal, I think selecting the surgeon who you most felt comfortable with is the best way to go. This also includes your surgeon’s nursing and office staff. As far as anesthesia, either method is reasonable.

Based on your photos, I would recommend silicone implants placed under the muscle. This will lower your chances of rippling. As for size, I find it useful for patients to try on implant sizers in the office, just to get a general idea. I also highly recommend consultation from a board certified plastic surgeon.

It totally depends how the umbilicus (belly button) was addressed during the mini tuck. You must find out if your surgeon just excised skin below it, or if the umbilicus was “floated”.
