Thanks for your question and photos. I believe that you would get an excellent result with a standard tummy tuck and muscle repair. Without seeing your thighs or butt, it is hard to know exactly if you need a lower bodylift, but I doubt it. I’d advise a different consultation and ask to see photo results of patients similar to you. An experienced surgeon should have many! I wouldn’t offer you a vertical scar. All the best Kim

I believe that a bodylift or extended tummy tuck would give you an excellent result. It would be unusual for an experienced plastic surgeon to not recommend their best approach for you. I’ve had great results in similar patients to you, without the use of a vertical scar. You would still have a scar around your belly button, but in experienced hand this can also be made to look very natural and quite inconspicuous. All the best
