If you feel you need to take an analgesic (medicine for pain) after a Botox procedure, taking Acetaminophen would be okay to do. Unlike salicylic acid or Aspirin, which can "thin" the blood and promote bleeding/bruising/swelling, Acetaminophen does not "thin" the blood, and will therefore NOT promote bruising or swelling. As I'm sure you know, do not take more Acetaminophen than the dosage guidelines listed on the bottle based on your age.
