Embrace strip for tummy tuck
Soooooo my Dr gave me 1 free Embrace strip for tummy tuck to try. That was Tuesday. I had to take it off this morning. So needless to say, that form of tummy tuck scar therapy is just not for me. It seems really great if you can afford it. Its $150 a box, and each box has 4 tummy tuck strips. It would take 3 of the 4 to cover my tummy incision. And they are suppose to last 7-10 days on the tummy, and more on the breast. Clearly, my skin just isnt having it. It lifted on the bottom and I was getting some fluid build up from where I am spitting in 2 spots. Oh well, atleast I tried
Are they silicone? I had two different types of silicone tummy tuck strips. Ended up tossing them

Tummy tuck scars? Lmao. There isn’t one part on my body that doesn’t have a plastic surgeon scar, bariatric scar, or stretch mark…. Ladies do your research stop wasting your $.
I did do my research. It’s a very new product. I was the first to have it applied in this office. I’ll stick to massage and vitamin E and lotion.

Us ladies should come up with “scar cover” makeup. I was too embarrassed to tell everyone but I put smashmouth foundation on my belly tummy tuck scars last week, needless to say since it was long acting and waterproof it stayed there for a few days. Now I know my tummy is way off from the shade of my face! I should know better!
I don’t know but it’s sooooo sore and tender now.. Fuck..
Sounds like it contained retinol….sorry it hurt. Now I know not to Retin A my scars….
