First shower tummy tuck
well I have had my first shower after tummy tuck, and garments came off, my tummy looks all squished up from the compression garment, shower was quick, but was nice to feel running water over me. took it easy getting undressed, then when getting all dressed again and having the compression put back on i was feeling very light headed and started to get dizzy, so must of have been a mixture of the heat, the water, and the compression off, but I do feel much better about having the good old shower though but for the next few weeks might just have a shower once a day, compared to my usual twice a day lol. i mean its not like I’m going to be getting smelly and dirty resting hey lol
Lol I had bad anxiety when it came to showering after my tummy tuck it made me so nauseas, I just had to keep pushing through & after the 1st 3-4 I started feeling better, good to hear you did ok, it gets easier
On what day after tummy tuck can you generally have a shower.. Day two ? Three ? I love my showers ? I’ve heard quite a few people say how exhausting showering is after a tummy tuck…
I couldn’t for a whole week
I couldn’t until my last drain was out.
I found the showers too exhausting so had one a week with sponge washes the other days for first few weeks that I was home. I didn’t get my first shower till day 9
I had to wait 10 days.
I felt yuck dizzy sick. Heat from shower and taking of binder found it hard to hold myself up.
Yep that’s what it feels like.

Yeah I went a whole week without a shower. I have low blood pressure so I got very dizzy, it was safer to be smelly lol
