Numbness after tummy tuck surgery

How long did it take for the numbness to go away on your tummy after abdominoplasty? How about the flanks for those that had lipo too?

I’m only 23 days post tummy tuck surgery. I’m still numb from BB to incision…mostly in the middle. I had a breast augmentation too with armpit incisions and the inside of my upper arms are numb. PS said it’s normal and can take up to a year to return as those nerve endings are mending themselves.

I had 3 sections too and everything took longer for me to get feeling back. After the first I never had it back right on the incision. I waited 2 years after my last section to have the tummy tuck and was mostly numb above and below the incision.

It takes about a year for the numbness to go away fully.
