Can a minimal gap be achieved? I’m worried that my natural gap is wider than I would like.
Cleavage
Mar 9, 2016
Whether or not you get good cleavage or closure of the space between the breasts depends on three main factors in addition to the size of your implant. 1. Where the breast footprint sits on your rib cage, that is if they are close/far to each other. 2. Width of your sternal bone. 3. The degree of curvature of your ribs. In most people the gap gets better, but someone with an extreme case of one or more of the above factors may have a wider than normal one, or even get worse. In the end you…
Is the Dropping at separate times normal of I am massaging both Multiple times a day and wearing compre
Dropping
Mar 9, 2016
Yes, this is totally normal. You can think of each side as a separate operation and they will move at their own paces. They will be on the same general schedule though.
Now I just got my BA yesterday and I love them right now. Are they going to get smaller?
Size
Mar 9, 2016
They will settle into the proper position, so the size will move more toward being centered on the nipple than above it as they are now. You also do have some swelling which makes them fuller right now. Usually some tissue relaxation in a few months helps to soften and round things out as well, as your tissues are tight right now.
Any thoughts on Capsule contracture?
Contracture
Mar 9, 2016
This is unfortunately one of the more common issues with implants. It can occur immediately after or decades later. Whether or not it needs surgery depends on how severe the contracture is, which usually corresponds to how much it affects the look of results. A mild contracture might not be as soft as normal but may look completely normal. A more severe one will feel and look different. There are ways to try to prevent it, but if it is severe and doesnt go away after trying non surgical…
Hard lump under crease 3 months post breast augmentation. Will it go away?
Lump
Mar 9, 2016
Often lumps around this area are stitches. I would suggest visiting your surgeon and having it examined. Usually if absorbable stitches are used they will go away in time.
Does my crease red to be lowered? Is there any way around this?
Lowering the crease
Mar 9, 2016
You have (like everyone else) some asymmetry to your breasts, I would say its mild in nature. From your photos, I personally would not lower your crease and allow a larger implant and time to help even things out to the point that is achievable. Its normal to have some fold height asymmetry, and usually you’d only think about fold lowering if the nipple to fold distance was much shorter than normal, which yours does not appear to be.
Are there any complications or concerns going from submuscular breast implant placement to subglandular
Pocket
Mar 9, 2016
Size is more important than pocket placement for having a dramatic or unnatural appearance, as are your preoperative  tissue characteristics. Its unlikely the placement has given you this appearance, and more likely it was the size and what you looked like prior. Implants make your breasts bigger, they cant change them (augment alone) from having some drop to zero drop. Going larger and above the muscle will increase the weight and strain on your tissues in the future meaning you will end…
Lump after breast augmentation
Bump
Mar 9, 2016
Its likely from your description that its a suture. I would call and be seen by your surgeon who would be able to confirm this and can set up any intervention that may be necessary to find out what it is and take care of it.
Is my scar ok or is it attached to the implant? Will this ever heal on its own?
Scar
Mar 9, 2016
Its normal for scars at this stage to be stiff and hard, all the way through the incision, including deeply. This normally improves over the next several months to about a year. You can help the process by massaging lightly. Reassess with your surgeon at 6 months for progress.
Do anatomicals give projection and lessen the potential upper pole roundness?
Anatomic vs. Round
Mar 9, 2016
The shape/style of the implant has little to do with where it settles and shouldnt be too much of a concern. The main thing is the different look you might achieve. The round implants will give (for similar projections) more upper pole fullness when compared to an anatomical, and those of course will have a risk of rotating which is why most place textured anatomicals.
I’m a heavy transgender who got 720cc and 750cc but it looks like i got man boobs . ??
Size
Mar 9, 2016
I agree with everyone else that it is still very early. However, its unlikely you will achieve as dramatic a look as you’d hoped for with standard implant sizes given your height and build. There are trade offs of course either way. Its not a good thing to immediately go from zero to maximum, and if that is the goal you’ll probably need another surgery in the future.
Do I have tubular breast syndrome?
Tuberous breasts
Dec 2, 2015
It does appear from your photos you may have a very mild degree of tuberous breast. The volume issue is separate, but both could be helped out with an augmentation.
How do my breast looks after 3 months post op?
asymmetry
Dec 2, 2015
With the additional preop photo included this is easier to see. Your “larger” breast definitely was higher beforehand and tighter which explains your results at this time. Essentially the implant on the tight side is in a smaller space and it will take your body longer to relax and adapt to it. Also, they will never be exactly the same, and preop asymmetries will be present post op and at times magnified (larger the implant the larger the magnification). Again, giving it time is the best…
Not happy with my BA results. Why do my boobs look different?
Asymmetry
Dec 2, 2015
Its hard to tell exactly without a prior photo but I can see what you are talking about. The most likely situation is that breast was larger before hand but difficult to tell until after the surgery. I would give it 6-12 months as there can be many changes over time and the difference might become smaller and more acceptable. Implants have effects on the breast tissue as well and giving it long enough for that to become evident would be good.
4 months post op, am I bottoming out on one side?
Bottoming out
Dec 2, 2015
It looks like you had some asymmetry before with a larger breast on that side before hand. In the six weeks photo the implants hadnt fully descended, and at 3 months they look fully relaxed. Your results look really good and well within bounds of your before photos. Congrats.
