Yes you can gain weight after a tummy tuck since the surgeon is stretching the skin and fat down but not usually emptying the abdominal wall of fat. I have found that people that gain weight after body contouring procedures such as tummy tucks or lipos can negatively impact your result. You've worked hard for this so keep it off.

There's no definitive answer here because everyone heals differently. The most important thing is that the incision is completely sealed and there are no areas of inflammation so no water can get in. I have found that this process usually takes about 4 weeks.

Skin and tissue around drains usually get a little inflamed since the drain was irritating it for several days. Anytime there is an open wound, no matter how small, there will be a little discharge on your gauze. The colored stuff in the wound you are seeing is a combination of dead cells and dry fat. Your abdomen is definitely very swollen and I would want to examine it to make sure there is no seroma. If there isn't then the swelling should go down slowly. I would not worry about the indentations on the sides. Those are from sutures holding the skin down and I have found that they usually disappear between 6 and 8 weeks.

The general consensus is somewhere between a BMI of 30-35. Above this, the risk of complications starts to increase. I use a BMI of 30 because I do most of my operations as an outpatient.

It is not unusual to have odd sensations in the abdomen after a tummy tuck. Warmth, itching, tingling and cramping are not uncommon. Occasionally though, heat can be a symptom of a fluid collection (seroma) or an infection. Fluid collections can at times be visible as liquid moving around under your skin and infections can have redness and fevers but sometimes the symptoms are very subtle and need to be evaluated by the surgeon.

I make the decision to combine procedures on a case by case basis. Things I take into consideration are: the patient's weight, age, overall health status, my estimated time under anesthesia and whether the procedure will be inpatient or outpatient. If all of the above are favorable, then yes, the procedures absolutely can be combined. Your surgeon will determine your individual level of risk and make a recommendation based on your health and safety.

It appears as though you may be developing a hypertrophic scar. That's basically a thickened scar. There are topical treatments (liquid silicone or silicone sheets) that offer some improvement but occasionally they need a few injections of Kenalog which is a steroid. See your surgeon to see if you would benefit from one of these treatments.
