Following general surgery training in Charleston, SC and Akron, Ohio, he completed a residency in plastic surgery at the Summa Health System, also in Akron. He finished his plastic surgery training in December 2000 with a fellowship at Nashville Plastic Surgery.
In Nashville, Dr. Hensel trained with the internationally renowned surgeons Dr. G. Patrick Maxwell, Dr. Jack Fisher and Dr. Mary Gingrass. The fellowship strongly emphasized cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, and a large volume of facial aesthetic surgery, liposuction and body contouring (tummy tucks, thigh lifts, etc.).
Dr. Hensel specializes in facial cosmetic surgery, breast surgery, and body contouring procedures. In those patients who have had massive weight loss through either diet or gastric bypass surgery, Dr. Hensel is able to achieve cosmetic improvement by using specialized techniques to remove the excess sagging skin, thus improving form, function and quality of life.
Dr. Hensel is a published author in plastic surgery journals and textbooks, and has given numerous lectures on the various aspects of plastic surgery. Dr. Hensel was appointed as a clinical instructor in surgery at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 1999.

There are many factors to consider when returning to work after a Tummy Tuck. It really have a lot to do with what you do for a living. If you have a desk job then of course you should be able to return sooner. Possibly within a week of your procedure. With anyone you must listen to your body and follow the signs to recovery. Most people in my practice return within a week or so.

Your question is a very good one! Although I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with your breasts I think it is very important that you wait to have anything done about this. As you mature your body may change and it is very important that you wait until your breasts have fully developed. This will lessen the chance of needing additional surgery in the future.

The great thing about liposuction is the incisions to perform the liposuction are very small. The incisions are sutured and are removed in about a week and these incision sites fade and are normally barely visible.

There are several different ways to accomplish your goals. You could start with a breast reduction on one side and a breast lift on the other. This procedure alone could certainly give you the results that you are looking for. It may not even be necessary to introduce implants to reach your goal.

Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) is probably going to give you the best result considering your past c-section. The procedure will not be able to be performed using the same incision line because of vertical incision but if your main concern is people asking you if you are still pregnant then I think an abdominoplasty to tighten the muscle and take away any loose skin would be the best procedure for you!

The only time that we usually use saline is when it is a cost issue to the patient or the patient is not 22 years of age or older
