Surgical scars do take 12 months and beyond to really mature. The redness does usually start to fade at around 6 months, though. I would discuss this with your plastic surgeon, as there are several modalities such as lasers and injections which can help the scars along.

Following liposuction, seromas are possible but relatively uncommon. Liposuction techniques that use energy (VASER, SmartLipo, etc) have higher incidences of postoperative seromas. At 5 days post-op, you still have a lot of swelling. Also, the implants tend to sit high for the first few weeks and feel like they are too big. It takes a minimum of 4 weeks for the swelling to improve and the implants to settle into their new position, and you will continue to notice changes for up to 6 months after surgery.
