Recovery from breast augmentation varies depending on placement of the implant. If the implant is placed under the breast tissue, you will experience discomfort for 3 – 5 days and will resume normal activity in 2-3 weeks. If the implant is placed under the muscle, you will have discomfort for 5-7 days and resume normal activity in 3-4 weeks. You may be required to wear an ace wrap for 5-7 days. This all varies by patient.
