This person previously had liposuction and fat transfer to her buttocks done at a local "med spa" center by a non-board certified surgeon whose specialty training was in Internal Medicine. These are stories I hear all too frequently (non-surgeons performing surgery). As you can see, she had significant abdominal wall contour deformities, with scar tissue and some areas completely devoid of any fat. She was very unhappy with the results and needed significant correction. Dr. Svehlak performed corrective liposuction and fat transfer to the abdominal wall. Fat was carefully harvested from other areas of her body, processed, and then re-injected into the abdominal wall to help improve contours. Scar tissue needed to be released as fat was transferred. This was done under a local anesthesia. Improvement can be appreciated 5 weeks later. She was happy with the improvements. She will need more treatments for further correction.
