Thank you for your answer, and to be honest, this is something we have discussed many times with our patients. Although studies have not proven that Ultherapy effects facial fillers, my good sensibility tells me that for a first time patient, I would do the Ultherapy first and come back with fillers a few days later. For those patients which already have fillers and have had them for 2-4 weeks or longer, Ultherapy is fine and to my knowledge I have not seen a diminishing affect...

The answer is no. To my knowledge, I have never heard, nor experienced anyone having a "severe complication" with Ultherapy. I spent many hours researching and experiencing Ultherapy myself, and was thoroughly convinced that this was something I needed to incorporate into my practice. Ultherapy is your, "bank account" for your collagen future as you age!!!

Thank you for your question on Ultherapy. Ultherapy is a great choice for a nonsurgical way to lift, tone and tighten using ultrasound technology. It stimulates collagen by targeting deep tissue. Typically those in their thirties and older with mild to moderate skin laxity are candidates. With a petite patient wishing for a DD, it won't take a big sized implant to get you there. I would of course, need a consultation to give you the best answer, but usually on someone of your stature,I would go with a 415cc to no more than a 450cc. Remember when internet surfing, implant size willlook totally different on a 5'2" girl compared to a 5'6" girl.

Personally, I would attempt to talk you out of this size implant since you are 5'2". I believe this would posea problem and possibly give you a cup size of E/F, plus stretch your skin and breast tissue. Also you havetubular breasts and I might suggest a lift. Please have several consultations with Board Certified PlasticSurgeons before you commit.

Good question! After 30 years of being a plastic surgeon, I have gone almost 99% to silicone, "Gummy Bear"implants because of the great results and their durability. You are a good candidate for implants which wouldgive you back the breasts you had before babies and possibly even better!

Removal of implants should be at least 3-6 months after breast feeding. I would prefer you lean more towardthe 6 months to give your breasts time to contract. Congratulations on giving up smoking, but remember that the gum should also be avoided since it contains nicotine. I would highly recommend not having the anchor lift. I perform my lifts withthe scar around the areolar and in the imframmary fold. Using the anchor approach means more scars andan increased chance for slow healing.

Doing a breast explant and fat transfer at the same time is possible, but I would not advise it.After the explantation of an implant, you want to see how the skin is going to tighten. Once youcan see what the final result is, then you could go forward.

If you have not adjusted to your new look after 7 months and do not, "feel like yourself" then taking theimplants out will more than likely be the best step. Since these implants were small and because youare still young, your skin should tighten fairly well. I can't imagine that having the implants removed,would in any way, make you look older.

Yes, ruptured implants can be removed. I would suggest replacing these implants with the, "Gummy Bear"type implants which are more cohesive and less chance of leaking.

When I have a woman who wants to remove her implants and leave them out, I have a lengthy consultation of what to expect, especially if she doesn't want a lift to tighten the skin. The breastswill tighten some, but basically you will be left with somewhat saggy breasts. My main concern isalways the psychological aspect and how this will effect her emotionally. This is a time when you mustchoose a good plastic surgeon who can assist you with your decisions.
