Statement: Dr. Amir Bajoghli is a board certified dermatologist practicing in the McLean and Woodbridge areas, who has had the honor of being named Top Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon by the Northern Virginia and Washingtonian magazines. He is a native of Northern Virginia and went on to graduate from the College of William & Mary and the Medical College of Virginia. He then completed a full internal medicine residency at the Boston City Hospital/BU combined program, where he became board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Bajoghli then completed a dermatology residency at the Tufts University/BU combined program. He then did an additional fellowship training in dermatologic laser and Mohs surgery at Boston University, where he also served as a faculty member. Dr. Bajoghli was in the first class of physicians in 2021 to become board certified in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (Mohs surgery). In addition to skin cancer, Dr. Bajoghli’s main clinical interest is in laser surgery for birthmarks, traumatic scars, skin resurfacing, and other skin conditions.
