Stomach tuck
Yes you could be a great candidate for a full stomach tuck.
But best to be seen in person by a boarded PS in your area. (Darryl J. Blinski, MD, Miami Plastic Surgeon)
Stomach tuck for abdominal contouring
If you have loose skin (you do), loose muscles and excess fat you are a candidate for a tummy tuck. You would benefit from significant body contouring with circumferential liposuction.
Muscle tightening and modest removal of skin Lipocontouring may provide the biggest benefit of this procedure for you (Jed H. Horowitz, MD, FACS, Orange County Plastic Surgeon)
Am I a candiate for abdominoplasty
Without an exam it is hard to tell if an abdominoplasty would be the best procedure. It is possible that liposuction might be a satisfactory procedure. Since you have never been pregnant, your skin should be in good condition and may well contract sufficiently to give you a very good result.
Stomach tucks are performed on women that have never been pregnant at times but it is less common. My advice is to make an appointment with a plastic surgeon and be evaluated by him/her. (Jeffrey E. Kyllo, MD, Seattle Plastic Surgeon)
There are three surgically correctable pieces in an abdomen. the skin, fat and the abdominal wall can all be addressed. to correct them all requies an abdominoplasty. i f you only want 1 or 2 of these items addressed, then a different procedure can be recommended. Without seeing you it is difficult to tell what should be offered. (Jonathan Saunders, MD, Newark Plastic Surgeon)
Please seek consultations directly from plastic surgeons in our area to be examined and to discuss all details
Would Stomach tuck help?
Yes, many women who have never been pregnant have abdominoplasty (stomach tuck) procedures.
Whether or not the operation will achieve the result you are seeking depends on how much redundancy of your abdominal wall contributes to the “bulge,” and how much extra skin you have. This can be determined by physical examination. (Steve Laverson, MD, San Diego Plastic Surgeon)
