Mine was barely a couple of months and that was because I was waiting on insurance to approve or not approve. They didn’t and as soon as I found out that I had to pay out of pocket, I was scheduled for 6 weeks later.

Well my plastic surgeon penciled me in for April 11 and told me she has someone scheduled for that date and if their insurance don’t follow through that I will be taking that slot. So I’m wondering when will I have my preop?
Carmen they’re late on your preop. Mine was last week….early and my tummy tuck surgery is also on the 11th.
I don’t know what to think now.
I say reschedule for a later date. Or call and ask them about it.
Can’t reschedule this is the only time I have to do this besides summer but can’t in the summer because my plastic surgeon is moving out of Sr tate and I want her to do my surgery.

Hi everyone. The preop labs can be done the same day as tummy tuck surgery if they are doing labs. Don’t worry about this. But you should know when tyo start your antibiotics, no blood thining medicine, and you should know what supplies you will need.

Exactly Michael. I already have my prescriptions…since last week.
No red wine or NSAIDS five days before surgery. No smoking, of course. and no crazy quick fad diets before surgery. Have Gatorade/poweraid or some other liquid that has electrolytes.
I tell my patients no NSAIDs no ASA no Vit E no alcohol 2 1/2 weeks before and after tummy tuck. No smoking 6-8 weeks before and after
Michael you’re right. My doc DID say 2 or more weeks before tummy tuck surgery. Went back and read my paperwork. I was wrong with 5 days. Don’t know what I was thinking.
