Tummy tuck infection ?
Seriously guys I need answers what the heck is this? The yellow spot isn’t puss its just yellowish skin but there is a tiny (very small) hole that I’m still draining from this is at my bast of scar right above my vag sorry for no edit but really trying to figure if I should get into my des tomorrow to have this spot looked at or if possible infec. Or if anyone else has experienced this. I have an inverted T incision and the red of my incision looks fine and healed except THIS DAMN spot.

It’s infected..your doctor will more than likely prescribe you antibiotics
Looks like its on the verge of infection after tummy tuck. I’d call the dr tomorrow, maybe ask if there’s an email that you can send a picture to. They might be able to call in an antibiotic without you actually having to go in.
Go see your plastic surgeon.

Yep infection, had that around my drain hole and it was def infection

looks like its infected, you should go and see your doctor..I never have this problems because I stayed in the hospital for nearly 2 weeks, had my lipo and tummy tucked done but that was more than 2 decade ago but now just in and then go home..
Go to the ER. …asap
You need to see someone sooner rather than later. It’s infected and you’ll need treatment.

I say “Go to the ER” ASAP. This don’t look like it’s healing properly.
The weird thing is my appt last week it was still similar just not as bad and my nurse told me to keep it bandaged and clean and that the Dr would look at it again on (this Fri) never explained how to clean it or what I could put on it. Just told me to keep it clean and bandanhed which is probably why this happened because she’s a twit.
This is the only 1-inch section I have any issue with. The rest of me already looks completely healed. .
I wouldn’t advise you to wait until Friday. That is to far away and you really dont want to get a straph infection. Especially since u have an “opening” anything that get in there will cause you problems.
A lot of times infections are hiding beneath the surface and drain through one opening. Im a wound specialist and I see this a lot
well it is draining.. lol not like excessively heavily. Danielle Claudette Levesque but im still thinking of going to my surgeons office tomorrow and if the nurse tells me its fine im going to the ER. but like I said this spot out of m ENTIRE midsection {inverted T scar) this is the only one inch spot.
Yes, and please don’t let the nurse alone evaluate it. The plastic surgeon needs to look for himself. Does it hurt? Does the drainage smell? Any heat in the area?
When you press does more fluid leak out?
I had a small opening on my breasts at the T. It was gross. But not infected. Keep it covered. Don’t do anything crazy to it. Bring it up tomorrow

no heat I can feel, slight odor but not repulsive, and just a bit of tenderness.
There was a gal in my breast augmentation group who had a lift and her pic looked similar they put her on a vacuum thing I guess to suck out the infection she had to carry it around.

Danielle pressing to get out excess is a good thing? and yes im going to dr office in the morning to have nurse look at it hopefully dr is their but if he isn’t ill be going to the er if she doesn’t prescribe some type of ointment. they took me off my antibiotic after week 1 because it looked so well everywhere, idk if I even have refills but right now I don’t have money im fighting with insurance. it looks like something that will need topical treatment. ill definitely post you guys up tomorrow. and let you all know.!
I had that under my breast after tummy tuck plastics I was told it was my internal stitches showing eventually the yellowish portion closed and is now gone . I even weeks later felt one or two stitches poking out like wire. If it is oozing then it’s not what I had it’s something else.
Oh no amber Amber ~ don’t forcefully squeeze it out. If you gently press the surrounding area does more drainage come out?
yes I press gently, very gently, usually notice drainage comes out if I bend over too.
and yes to answer previous question, im 2 weeks po after tummy tuck, 3w on Friday!
