Lipo or tummy tucks.
A bbl could be done first and at a later stage a tummy tuck. Both could be done at the same time or a tummy tuck with liposuction and no bbl can be done.
Discuss with an experienced board certified ps who does lots of these procedures. (Peter Fisher, MD, San Antonio Plastic Surgeon)
Based upon the posted photos you are ONLY a candidate for tummy tuck with lipo on hips and back. Best to seek IN PERSON opinions. (Darryl J. Blinski, MD, Miami Plastic Surgeon)
Liposuction or Tummy Tucks?
You are a good candidate for abdominoplasty ( tummy tucks) with hip and flank liposuction to contour your body. Tummy Tuck is a great procedure and will remove your excess skin and fat, at the same time tightening your muscles.
This will give you your tightest abdomen and nice feminine contour. Liposuction only addresses fat – and if done alone will leave you with more excess skin – I do not recommend lipo alone for you.
Seek an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for in-person consultation. (Thomas Trevisani, Sr., MD, Orlando Plastic Surgeon)
I’d recommend a tummy tuck and some liposuction of the waist at the same time, but I would also recommend losing some more weight first. If you can lose some more weight, your tummy tuck results will only be better! Definitely, meet with a board certified plastic surgeon to find out more. (Joshua Cooper, MD, FACS, Seattle Plastic Surgeon)
Liposuction vs tummy tucks
Based on the photos you provided, I would say your best option would be a tummy tuck in order to remove the excess skin with bilateral flank liposuction for better waist contouring. The more weight you lose the better your results will be in the end. As for recovery time, I advise my patients that they may begin light exercise at 4-6 weeks and have no further exercise restrictions at the 8 week mark. (Tushar R. Patel, MD, FACS, Red Bank Plastic Surgeon)
