Workouts after tummy tuck

Hi ladies! How long did everyone wait to work out? I’m 4 weeks post tummy tuck operation tomorrow and my surgeon told me I could start then. There is NO way. I don’t know if he thinks I’m talking about light workouts or what but I got a new punching bag and I want to use it! Hope everyone is feeling good today!

    I think a punching bag is too much right now. Yes you use your arms but you’ll tense your ab muscles too. Did you have muscle repair? I started with brisk walking now I’m 9 weeks after tummy tuck and i can use the elliptical.

    Yes, mr too. I really use my core when punching and kicking so I’m not sure what he’s thinking. Some other girls in other tummy tuck groups were saying they couldn’t do ab work for months. Like 5 or 6.

    I think everyone heals differently but if you feel ok doing it than it’s up to you. I still hurry when I sneeze, can’t imagine doing an ab.

    Haha me too! I sneezed 3 times today. I was in so much pain

    Yup, and i get seasonal allergies. I pop those Zyrtec right way

    No twisting till 4 months after tummy tuck or the mr stitches could rip my plastic surgeon said

    Start slow and easy then gradually add to workout. You didn’t start at the level you were on day one. Your abs are really new and need to be introduced slowly
