Doctor Marcus Crawford, MD, Kennesaw, Georgia (30144) Breast Reconstruction Following Mastectomy
This patient is a 54 year old female who originally had right breast cancer. She had prior lumpectomy and radiation therapy but developed a recurrent breast cancer in this breast. She opted for bilateral mastectomy but wanted reconstructed breasts that were slightly larger than her natural breasts. This was accomplished with bilateral Latissimus Dorsi Flap breast reconstruction. The above photographs demonstrate her progression through the reconstruction process with her final photos showing her nipple reconstruction with areola tattoo.
