Dr. Zakhireh, Palm Desert, California (92260) 33 Year Old Female Treated With Plastic Surgery For Tummy Tuck
This is a 33 year old mother of 2 with history of heavy pregnancies at 7 and 8 pounds. This patient's abdomen was really stretched out resulting in a belly with stretch marks. She states that no matter how much she works out she cannot get things to tone back up. She had extensive abdominal muscle looseness from being stretched secondary to pregnancy. I advised her that her muscles were very strong but stretched out and unfortunately exercise would do nothing more for her. She also had some fat which needed to be lightly cleaned up from the bra line, back, love handles and hip area including inner and outer thighs. During her tummy tuck, I sculpted the fat off of her mid section in strategic areas to bring out the natural curves of her body and to give her a butt lift. Then I proceeded with the tummy tuck, really tightening the abdominal muscles to give her that athletic abdomen. The patient did very well after surgery, and I was particularly pleased with her belly button reconstruction.
