One of the most popular plastic surgical procedures Worldwide is the Abdominoplasty; often referred to simply as a 'Tummy Tuck' or 'Mommy Makeover'. Here we see the “classic” tummy tuck patient: a 42-year-old female after having a few children. The patient presented with the goal of rejuvenating her belly: trimming excess fat, smoothing wrinkly skin, and removing unsightly stretch marks from below her belly button. She wanted her original, slim, firm stomach back. The following before-and-after photos were taken just three months following the Lipoabdominoplasty. Following SSP&RS’s Post-Operative Scar Management Protocol, the scar has already faded tremendously, blending in with the surrounding skin. The scar will continue to fade over 6 months to 1 year, eventually, nearly vanishing and appearing as a thin line which is barely noticeable! (Keep in mind, everyone heals differently. Some scars are more noticeable than others. All scars are kept very low below the panty line).
