TT surgery

Am I a good candidate for a TT surgery

Based on your photos and description, you are an excellent candidate for a TT surgery.

An examination can determine the laxity in your tissues and help determine the best type of tummy tuck to improve your abdomen. (Donald Griffin, MD, Nashville Plastic Surgeon)

Candidate for TT surgery

I am not examining you, but you do appear to be an excellent candidate for a tummy tuck. You have excess skin with stretch marks, lax muscles, and already have a scar.

The tummy tuck scar is usually lower and longer, but can be concealed as well. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon who understands what you want and he can give you options. (Eric Weiss, MD, FACS, Orange Park Plastic Surgeon)

Can I Get A Tummy Tuck?

A thorough in person exam is needed, but it appears that you would benefit from an abdominal procedure of some kind. This may be a full abdominoplasty, mini-abdominoplasty with umbilicoplasty or umbilical float.

A rectus plication is needed as well. Your surgeon will be able to tell you if your C-section scar can be removed, but it looks to me that it can be.

Please make sure you discuss all your concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and discuss all options clearly. (Douglas L. Gervais, MD, Minneapolis Plastic Surgeon)

I suspect you will have a nice outcome from a TT surgery. The stretch marks don’t really show on the photos. Often, most or all the stretch marks in the lower abdomen can be removed. The incision can be at the same level as the c-section scar, though I cannot tell based on the photos posted if the incision that would be made around the navel would come off with the excess, or if you might have to have a small low vertical incision as well. Best answer will come during a consultation. (Jourdan Gottlieb, MD, Seattle Plastic Surgeon)
