Thanks for your question kbulpin! Choosing implant size/shape/profile is a very personal decision. The average size I place is about 350cc but that won’t be right for everyone. Based on your anatomy, there is a range of implants that would fit based on different profiles. Lower profiles will have less volume for a given width than higher profiles. The short answer is “usually not.” There are some combinations that can effect the outcome in certain individuals such as lifting the breasts up and pulling the tummy down but even these surgeries can often be combined without jeopardizing the outcome. The surgeon, or his/her nurse or medical assistant should be able to advise you on how to proceed. Excellent question niptuckme. Dried blood can be hard to remove which is why I shampoo my patient’s hair in the OR. The 50/50 water and hydrogen peroxide is a great start, but it can also bleach your hair if you don’t get it all out. Most of the time warm water, shampoo, and conditioner will do the job.
